I'm currently reading a book I checked out from the library called Smart Cookies' Guide to Making More Dough.  It's about how five young women got smart, formed a money group, and took control of their finances.  I'm only on the first few pages but I loved the raw simplicity of talking about money.  I also loved this quote from the book.  "Discussing our finances and our financial goals not only helps to hold us accountable, but the more we talk about our dreams the more tangible they become. Plus, you never know: The people you share your financial goals with might be in a position to help you reach them faster.  Maybe they'll decide to share some advice that worked for them or they'll mention a high-paying job position they heard about that might be perfect for you, or they'll gently remind you of your larger goals when you're tempted to splurge on something you really don't need."

The more we talk about our dreams the more tangible they become!

Wordless Wednesdays. My One Word.

I recently joined the Wordless Wednesday bloggin world.  This week is One Word to describe your year, what would it be?  For me my word is LOVE.  Whenever I see a Heart I think of Love.

There is a website called WeHeartIt.com that offers the ability to find images online and heart them.  It's a way of tagging the picture and letting others know you love it. I find the concept simple and fun to use.

You can find me on that site, I just started Hearting my favorites.

I also Love Instagram on my iPhone because I can heart all the pictures I like. You tap the image and a heart pops up letting you know you've liked the picture.  My username is nicoleflothe.

The last site I'm in LOVE with currently that uses a Heart for liking is Pinterest  They have so many pins that people have saved and share with others.  The site is full of crafts, vacation destinations, style, quotes, and so much more.

Since it's supposed to be wordless wednesday I better end this with saying, "Make it the best New Year and add LOVE to your list of words, its super powerful!:)
