NIV Radiant Virtues Bible Book Review

Wow is what I have to say about this Bible, I felt a peace and enjoyment to look through this and search and understand the Bible in a new way. My favorite verse in the Bible is about Faith, Hope, and Love from 1 Corinthians 13 and the back cover just so happens to have that as the start of their description. There are so many lovely verses and graphic designs and I will share a few in this post. I love getting the opportunity to review such beautiful bibles and this NIV Radiant Virtues Bible was recently sent to me.  Thank you to Bible Gateway Blogger Grid!

I received this Bible for free as a member of the Bible Gateway Blogger Grid #BibleGatewayPartner.

Here is a link to the FaithGateway Store (https://store.faithgateway.com/products/niv-radiant-virtues-bible-a-beautiful-word-collection-hardcover-red-letter-comfort-print-explore-the-virtues-of-faith-hope-and-love?variant=39321455132808)

This Bible makes it easy to capture your favorite graphic designs and the beautiful verses allowed me to quickly send them to my family after I took my photos.  The bible is highlighted in areas with different colors as the scriptures relate to faith, hope, and love.  By doing this they have given more meaning and significance to the scriptures.  I also found the sections that offer prayers and a review of the particular chapter or story of the bible a great resource as well.

Do you ever get an impulse to give something away?  I feel like I was told to give this Bible to my friend but I haven't yet.  I'm enjoying the gift that I was given and soon I will pass it along.

WIth much love,

What are your plans this summer? Gardening, Skywatching, or becoming an Artist? WW entry

Rainy Pink Roses
Pink and Yellow Sunset
Pretty Lovely Cheerleader
Happy Times at Cheerleading
Relax and Enjoy the Skyline
This is officially the last day of school for my kids!  They had a half day and we are now enjoying the rest of the day together.  It's been raining a lot in Naples lately.  I guess that's what summer brings, amazing afternoon showers.  My flowers seem to like it and some of my trees are growing taller.  What are you doing this summer?  Any great plans or are you just going to relax?  My daughter is having fun with her new cheerleaders she has been drawing, I keep seeing them all over the house.  I don't have any big plans this summer, just to take it easy and sleep in.  I'm also looking forward to a flexible schedule with the kids! Happy Summer Time!

3 Ways to Support Each Other

I went for a walk with my in-laws, husband and family at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary here in Naples, Florida a few days ago.  I really enjoy walking along the boardwalk to see the wildlife and nature.  It's very peaceful and a great way to spend some quality time with my family.  Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary occupies approximately 13,000 acres in the heart of the Corkscrew Watershed in Southwest Florida, part of the Western Everglades.  They routinely change art work inside the visiting center and this month they had a unique artist named Olivia Bouler.  She started drawing and painting when she was 11 years old.  She wanted to help support the Audubon society and asked if she could contribute her artwork to help raise money.
The first thing I noticed about this bird was the upside down hearts. <3

What a great way to share her talents and help raise money to support her love of Nature.

This month's Heartbeat Magazine February Edition is out.  Here is the latest Cover.  Enjoy!

A picture is worth a thousand words, WW

The adage "A picture is worth a thousand words" refers to the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image.  What do you think?

This last weekend has flown by and I am so thankful!  My daughter turned 7 this weekend.  She was able to invite all her school friends over and some family friends.  They played around the house and then did a fun fashion show for us.

Happy Birthday to my daughter, the girls all had such a fun time!

Elizabeth got the cutest tiny art set for her Birthday.
Today I went to lunch with my husband at Moe's, yum.  Love the Heart logo and the support they provide to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation!
Then enjoyed a spectacular view out my window of tonights setting sun.
PS. Just found these nails on Instagram, adorable! Perfect for Valentines!

Please be sure to leave your blog link and join me for the Wordless Wednesday Bloghop.  Also, enter the giveaway, a beautiful custom designed tote bag from Dolly Mack Designs.

Dolly Mack Designs Tote Bag Giveaway

I recently was looking for ideas for my daughter's 7th birthday and happened to find a beautiful handbag designed by Dolly Mack Designs on Facebook.  She is an artist from the UK and we chatted about the possibilities of designing a bag.  The only problem was she is so popular and has a two week waiting list of design requests.  I will definitely keep her page saved in my future shopping plans for my family and friends.

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to interview her for the Artist of the month in the January issue.  She is offering our readers a custom Dolly Mack Designer Tote Bag.

Be sure to enter our Giveaway or send her a direct email to dollymackdesigns@hotmail.co.uk.

A Fool-Proof Formula for Making Dreams Come True

I completed a few things today to help in making my dreams come true!  I read a Quote of the Week
If you can Dream it You can Make It! - Walt Disney
Saw this adorable artwork on Facebook, a great visualization!  I think I'd like to have it on my daughters wall!  Then I spent time with my friend Shelly Aristizabal at Venture X, she is launching a new website and we were reviewing the exciting layout.  Venture X has office space for business owners, conference rooms, large rooms for seminars or events and so much more.  It was my first time visiting and if I need to host an event in the future I'll be sure to check them out.
I enjoyed watching tonight's sunset.

Then surfed Instagram and saved this nail art idea for the Heart of Fashion : Nail Heart Art!  Love the Design by Kaitlin Ferland

What's Your Formula for Making Your Dreams Come True?

Comment below, I'd love to read about them.  Join my Blog hop if you have a blog you'd like to link up for Wordless Wednesdays, sometimes not so wordless.

What's your 70th Blog post? WW entry

Do you keep track of your blog posts?  I've seen some people give an update on their blogs for whatever special event they are hosting, it could be a Wordless Wednesday, a Weekend Blog hop, or a Giveaway.  I think it's a fun way to keep track of how the blog is progressing. This is officially my 70th Blog post!  My next goal will be to reach my 100th Blog post.  That will be exciting:-)

Did you get any Christmas shopping done yet?  We went to a Christmas Holiday event with our church and bought two kids presents that they wanted on their list.  My kids got to help select the gifts we were going to give them.  It was fun to see the happiness on my families faces and to remember the reason why we celebrate Christmas.

We officially have some presents under our Christmas tree, we are counting down the days till Christmas eve when the kids get to open one present.  Have you visited Santa Claus Naughty or Nice List online?  My daughter loves the website.  I also like the the Santa Claus Countdown website.

My son has been singing in the chorus this year and yesterday he had a Toys for Tots Christmas Show. I wasn't able to make it but my husband went and took some great pictures and videos.  I'll be sure to post the videos soon.  Here is a picture from the show...

Then yesterday we received our craft in the mail from Colortime.  My daughter was so excited and we began working on the project right away.  The fat coloring pens were easy to use and she was fascinated by the ability to combine the colors together to get a new color.  She saw that when you combine red with yellow, you get orange, and blue with yellow, you get green.  It was so much fun!  Here are the results...

That's my not so wordless, Wordless Wednesday in pictures.  If you participate in Wordless Wednesdays please leave your link as I look forward to blog hopping later today!

PS.  Be sure to visit the Giveaway section, can't wait to pick the Starbucks Gift Basket winner soon, only 3 days left.

Need a gift idea?  Or do you have one that is amazing and would like to share, I'd love to hear about it.

How to pick the perfect gift, WW entry with Linky

Kissing Fish Bowl by my friend Jim Rice of Naples Clay Place.

Kissing Fish Platter.

Or so many other choices!

The other day I was browsing at a store here in Naples, Florida called Exquisite Gift Shop.  They had so many great gift ideas.  I'll be sure to stop back by for this upcoming holiday.  My friend, Jim Rice, is the potter for the above pictures and I talked to him today about his kissing fish line.  He says it's a great hit with those people looking for a perfect wedding gift.  He also told me this sweet story about a marriage proposal.  One of his customers asked him to customize a plate that said on it, "Will You Marry Me? Once the plate was made, the guy took it to his favorite restaurant and had prearranged with the chef to have his girlfriends food served on the plate.  Once she started eating the food she read the words.  She was so happy and said yes!

Do you have a favorite gift or sweet story to share?  Be sure and let me know, I love hearing about them!

Also, visit our Giveaway tab and I'd be happy to link up via Social Media:)

xoxo,
Nicole

Sky and Sunset Love Wordless Wednesday

I really LOVE skyscapes and sunsets. Here are a few of my favorites I've taken throughout the year.
This one is of my daughter making a cute Heart shape with a view of our sunset.

Sometimes I get inspiration from a site called Instagram and made my LOVE photo using the DoodleBuddy App to add the letters to the picture.

The other day I saw a beautiful heart shaped landscape photo and had to try my own, I used a leftover box for my heart frame.

The last picture was taken yesterday with our bright orange sunset in our neighborhood.  This frame I made with a sheet of art paper then added a dark frame filter from Instagram.

Looking forward to Wordless Wednesday so post your link and I'll be sure to check out your blog.  Have a wonderful week!

xoxo,
Nicole Flothe
