3 Ways to Support Each Other
I went for a walk with my in-laws, husband and family at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary here in Naples, Florida a few days ago. I really enjoy walking along the boardwalk to see the wildlife and nature. It's very peaceful and a great way to spend some quality time with my family. Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary occupies approximately 13,000 acres in the heart of the Corkscrew Watershed in Southwest Florida, part of the Western Everglades. They routinely change art work inside the visiting center and this month they had a unique artist named Olivia Bouler. She started drawing and painting when she was 11 years old. She wanted to help support the Audubon society and asked if she could contribute her artwork to help raise money.

1. Go for a walk with your family this will help support family bonding time.
2. Create something that could be useful to support an organization you love.
3. Snap some photos of your sisters or brothers embracing each other. You can look back on it and remember the sweet hug and cherish the moment!

Six Reasons Heartfelt Moments are better than Chocolate, WW Entry
Since it's the first of the year, I've been sticking to my exercise regime but have had an incredible desire for chocolate. In order to focus my thoughts on other things I found six reasons heartfelt moments are better than chocolate. Recently I've been using the Calorie Count app to help me track my progress on my iPhone. Here are my six snaps from this week that have been helpful.
1. Go take random heartfelt pictures of flowers! I went to Lowe's and walked out into the flower garden, took some really pretty pictures and thought this flower was a real beauty.
2. Take a few heartfelt moments and look for hearts in your food. Here Jake found a heart shaped nugget.
3. Visit an art gallery to find heartfelt artwork.
4. Be creative and draw your own hearts on craft paper, then frame them.
5. Stop to look up in the sky and see the pretty day.
6. Head outside and see the setting sun. (I <3 sunsets!)

One of a Kind Heart Plate Giveaway
In our October issue of Heartbeat Magazine we featured Artist Jim Rice. We are excited to share that he is offering us a raffle to give one lucky reader a one of a kind clay heart plate. He has been very successful in establishing the first professional pottery in Naples, Florida in 1973, The Clay Place. Mr. Rice has created environmental ceramic pieces, including fireplaces, wall murals, pool tiles, fountains, animals and planters.
