Wordless Wednesdays - Dream

I'm currently reading a book I checked out from the library called Smart Cookies' Guide to Making More Dough.  It's about how five young women got smart, formed a money group, and took control of their finances.  I'm only on the first few pages but I loved the raw simplicity of talking about money.  I also loved this quote from the book.  "Discussing our finances and our financial goals not only helps to hold us accountable, but the more we talk about our dreams the more tangible they become. Plus, you never know: The people you share your financial goals with might be in a position to help you reach them faster.  Maybe they'll decide to share some advice that worked for them or they'll mention a high-paying job position they heard about that might be perfect for you, or they'll gently remind you of your larger goals when you're tempted to splurge on something you really don't need."

The more we talk about our dreams the more tangible they become!

New Giveaway a Pink Heart Ballet Bag from Ave Maria Dance

Today has been a rainy day in Southwest Florida with a subtropical storm passing us by.  We have been blessed with mild weather most of the winter.  On Monday my daughter attends Ave Maria Dance Academy and enjoys ballet and tap lessons.  I was chatting with the owner the other day about giveaways and she was sweet and offered this beautiful ballet bag.  I know it's one of my daughters favorite selections of all the bags on www.avemariadance.com shop online.  I wish you the best of luck with this awesome heartfelt giveaway!

Ave Maria Dance offers a chance to win,"in a HEARTBEAT" book by entering free giveaway

The end of January is near, how did that happen so quickly?  Have you seen all the Valentine Displays at your local stores?  They are gearing up for the big heart celebration!  We've been given another giveaway and I know those that enjoy reading Young Adult Fiction will want to win.  This book by Loretta Ellsworth is called, in a HEARTBEAT.

Thank you Ave Maria Dance for offering a Heartfelt book to our fans.  This book is about two teenage girls that have struggles in their lives.  One is a professional skater and has relationship troubles with her mother.  The other is reserved, has heart problems and is on the donor list for a heart.

The back cover...

When a small mistake costs Eagan her life, she leaves many things behind -- including her heart, which now lives on in Amelia's body.  From Eagan's vantage point in her own version of heaven, she relives vivid memories through her still-beating heart and is distressed by her troubled relationship with her mother.  Unable to move on without resolving her past, Eagan is trapped...

Despite her mixed emotions of joy and guilt about her new chance at life, Amelia feels lucky to be alive.  But when she begins to take on strange new characteristics, Amelia wonders if her heart donor is trying to tell her something.  Is it too late for Amelia to help the girl who saved her life?

Wordless Wednesdays. My One Word.

I recently joined the Wordless Wednesday bloggin world.  This week is One Word to describe your year, what would it be?  For me my word is LOVE.  Whenever I see a Heart I think of Love.

There is a website called WeHeartIt.com that offers the ability to find images online and heart them.  It's a way of tagging the picture and letting others know you love it. I find the concept simple and fun to use.

You can find me on that site, I just started Hearting my favorites.

I also Love Instagram on my iPhone because I can heart all the pictures I like. You tap the image and a heart pops up letting you know you've liked the picture.  My username is nicoleflothe.

The last site I'm in LOVE with currently that uses a Heart for liking is Pinterest  They have so many pins that people have saved and share with others.  The site is full of crafts, vacation destinations, style, quotes, and so much more.

Since it's supposed to be wordless wednesday I better end this with saying, "Make it the best New Year and add LOVE to your list of words, its super powerful!:)

Love,
Nicole
