Fun Activities in Naples, Florida are Feeding Giraffes and Visiting the Naples Zoo

The kids had the day off from school today so we went to our local zoo with their Grandparents Glenn and Cheryl.  As grandparents they can bring their grandchildren for free when they have a season pass! Thanks guys!  We sure enjoyed our trip and it was the first time my daughter got to feed a Giraffe.

I love seeing heart shaped leaves in trees, so pretty!
My kids feeding the Giraffe lettuce!
I was trying to take a picture of the Giraffe and feed him lettuce too.
They moved the tiger and Naples Zoo sign for photos, the shading is not the best at 4pm.
We were able to watch the black bear eat his fruit at the table.  Too funny!
I love Giraffes, they are so beautiful!

6 Healthy Habits that will benefit any Mother on Mother's Day

Simply Smile and Enjoy Life!

When do you take a minute to really breathe?  Research says that listening to classical music and dimming the lights can help support your breathing.  Taking a nice deep breath and yawning can increase the oxygen to your body and make you feel better.

It's funny to me to think that exercise boosts energy.  Exercise can be tiring but in the long run the benefits are amazing.  With regular physical activity you improve your muscle strength and boost your endurance.  And when your heart and lungs work more efficiently, you have more energy!

Don't argue, love through your disagreements.  A study by Ronald Glazer and Jan Kiecolt-Glaser, in which couples were observed during disputes showed that a more loving, positive interaction had higher immediate immune function.  Dr. Gonzaga says, the key to positive conflict resolution is productively engaging in conversation.

Live for today.  Sometimes we get so caught up in our past that we aren't paying attention to our present day.  Stop thinking for a moment and look around you at the many small blessings you have in your life.

Good communication is essential to a good relationship.  If we start with a simple daily prayer, it opens up our hearts.  Some people pray in the morning to start their day and others finish their night with a prayer habit.

"Changing habits is fundamental to changing your life. Everything you repeatedly do, say and think is as a direct result of your habits.  To enjoy permanent, positive change in your life, you must change your negative beliefs and their associated habits," says Tania Kotsos.  Believe in possibilities!

Why do kids love Spongebob? WW entry

Is the reason why kids love Spongebob because he has so much faith in his dreams coming true?

Is it because they can relate to how it doesn't matter what other people think of you being silly and laughter is so much fun?

Is it because children have the sweetest ability to love others and so does Spongebob?

Whatever it is, I sure do see a lot of smiles when Spongebob does his silly things in the cartoons.

What is your favorite cartoon character that makes you smile?

How to get unstuck when writing a Headline for your Blog.

Do you ever stare at the blinking line on your computer trying to think of the perfect headline for your blog post?  Sometimes I do, but then I remember that I participate in Wordless Wednesday so I don't have to think too much about my words!  I did do a search today about how to get help when writing a headline, here are a few of the tips I found interesting...

1.  Ask a question.  My dad would always ask me questions when starting a conversation with me.  How was your day?  How many beans are in a jar of green beans?  (I always thought this one was funny for some reason:)

2.  Ask why.  Why do people love going to the beach?  Why is it that the favorite dessert in Alaska is ice cream?

3.  How to.  How to floss your teeth and get better results at the dentist office.  How to make the perfect lasagna.  How to get your kids to listen to you.

4.  Numbered list. 5 reasons to stop thinking so much and go with your heart.  12 ways to improve your family time.  9 tips on kid birthday parties.

5.  Best or Worst.  Best and worst things about living in Florida.  Best vacation ever.  Worst parenting mistakes and how to fix them.

Here are my Wordless Wednesday photos for today.  Not so wordless, enjoy anyway:-)
