Since we live in Florida it would be easy to spend every weekend in Orlando vacationing at Disney but I'm raising a family, working as a Nurse, publishing a monthly magazine and so much more. So we can only venture there when we plan a great celebration.
My top Five things that I will bring to Disney are...
1. Our Reservation information for the hotel.
2. Several Days of clothes for all the family, swimsuits, and toiletries.
3. The kids Disney Pin Trading Lanyards.
4. My phone and my daughter's camera.
5. Hats to protect us from too much sun.
Next week I will have new pictures from our trip. Can't wait to see the magic of Disney and enjoy a fun family vacation! Please leave me a comment. Also, enter the giveaway, a beautiful custom designed tote bag from Dolly Mack Designs.
My little Liz Princess Art as a baby in 2006, we took her to Animal Kingdom. |
One year we went to Disney and made fun Disney shirts. |

Lost me at trading pins? but sounds as though they must be important to be in your top f list. Have fun I know you will :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sukhmandir! I didn't know much about trading pins until we went one year and got the kids a few and then you can trade disney pins with cast members and special ones are only out at certain times. The kids loved it!

Thanks Ai. I love your blog, so sweet!
DeleteI have a mad crush on Disney, especially the packing and anticipation!!
ReplyDelete:) Yes, that is a really fun part!! Have a great week!
DeleteI hope I'm preparing my kids for a trip there one day :-)
ReplyDelete:-) I'm sure they will love it when that day comes!
DeleteWhen my daughter was looking for a college, we went to visit UCF in Orlando. Students get a substantial discount on buying tickets to all of the theme parks; so we found two students and paid them to buy us four discounted tickets. It was a win win because we paid less overall for tickets and the college kids made some money. My daughter is now a sophomore there. Give her a call, and I bet she and some of her friends would meet you in the very public student union and get you discounted tickets for a small fee.
ReplyDeleteIf interested, email me: jlanskyATcomcastDOTnet It sounds goofy (pun intended), but I'm not kidding. We saved a lot of money this way.

Joyce, Thank you so much! We are getting the three day Florida Discount pass. I appreciate the idea of a discount from your daughter. You are so kind! xoxo
DeleteI've never taken all of my children at once. I need to plan a trip for all of us. Maybe this summer. It's a shame to live so close and never go. I hope you have an awesome time.

Thanks! Hope you have a great time when you take all of them someday! xoxo
DeleteGreat tips! I have never been to Disney, but I dream of going one day. No idea if that dream will ever come true though....living in Kansas it is so expensive to even fly to Florida
ReplyDeleteWhen your daughter is about 5 or 6 is the best time, they are so amazed at all the Magic of Disney! Maybe you could get a sponsored trip someday! :-)
DeleteI am so jealous! We went on our first trip there in November and it really was magical! We thought it would be a once in a lifetime trip, but we are definitely planning on going back.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time!
Theresa, I could go back as many times as they would allow me:) I once wanted to work there in their Nursing dept. They have an amazing place called Celebration where most of the members live. The fun thing is they are always adding and changing things to make it fresh and new! Have a fun week!
DeleteI'm a little jealous. Wish I was going back to Disneyland. It is the happiest place on earth after all
ReplyDeleteRudy, It truly is the happiest place on earth:-) I hope you will be able to visit Disney someday again!
DeletePerhaps one day we will head to Disney World instead of our usual haunt, Disneyland.
ReplyDeleteYes, you should! I haven't been to Disneyland but one day I'll head that way!
DeleteI love Disneyworld!! My mom lives on the coast just east of Orlando. I can not wait to take my toddler to visit and go to Disney again!!
ReplyDeleteCool! Toddlers have the best time! Have a super week!
DeleteI've been to two Disneylands - Hong Kong and Anaheim but I don't mind another visit especially the one in Orlando. Next life, maybe!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, the Hong Kong one looks amazing. I'd love to visit the one in Paris. Someday!
