Why do kids love Spongebob? WW entry


Is the reason why kids love Spongebob because he has so much faith in his dreams coming true?


Is it because they can relate to how it doesn't matter what other people think of you being silly and laughter is so much fun?


Is it because children have the sweetest ability to love others and so does Spongebob?

Whatever it is, I sure do see a lot of smiles when Spongebob does his silly things in the cartoons.

    Yes, I agree with everything. Sponge Bob embodies everything children like, and creators of this cartoon have considered children's psychology :)

    I've always loved the Yosemite Sam character Maybe 'cuz he's all piss 'n vinegar that I could never be. I loved his profanity-like tirades he'd go on after Bugs had gotten the best of him. It reminds me of my father's stupid tantrums and makes me laugh, until I realize that I now do it too.
    So I got him as a tattoo, and have way more Yosemite Sam crap from ebay than I should. I'm an adult though, so don't tell me what to do, 'ya rackin' frackin' varmint!

      I could see how Yosemite Sam could be a great cartoon to connect with when feeling frustrated! They say it's important to express your feelings and not bottle them up inside. Have a great week!

    We love Spongebob! He always has such an upbeat attitude. I get see where some would find him annoying, but we really enjoy the show!

      Yes, I sometimes am one to find him somewhat annoying but when I see my kids laugh than the little things don't matter so much. :) Have a sweet week!

      Hi Sofia, Thanks for your comment. I don't think we can help it sometimes, people get annoyed with the littlest things. If we don't let it bother us as much than it's not that big of a deal. :)
